You don’t have to be a Christian, or believe in the spiritual doctrines of a church, to understand and respect the life of Jesus.  And you don’t have to be non-Christian to understand and apply the non-spiritual aspects to Jesus’ teachings.

Jesus was an anti-establishment figure, who opposed the corrupt practices and policies of those in local power as well their cooperation of those from the (foreign) Roman government. And what makes the establishment flourish is money. They have to be financed, and the bankers of the day (money changers) were at the root of the problem.

This is not all that different from our issues today:

  • We have corrupt politicians in power (from both parties) who are wedged into powerful posts, and;
  • They are financed by money changers who are operating within government through the Federal Reserve (and as appointees to high posts, such as positions in the Department of the Treasury);
  • And these factions are all openly taking their orders from foreign governing bodies (UN, NATO, IMF, etc).

It is my opinion that any well-educated Christian would see the parallels in the mission and message of Jesus to our current situation in government. The unethical, illegal, tyrannical practices and policies of an overbearing government takes away individual liberty, and with it the ability for the individual to live according to their conscience and convictions.

Fight for liberty, as Jesus did, and spiritual freedom will be restored.
