At the 2012 RNC Convention in Tampa, 6 Delegations submitted the proper paperwork to nominate Ron Paul from the floor. The RNC leadership not only willfully ignored the submission, but Chairman Reince Priebus later claimed that no paperwork was submitted.

This video contains the voice memo sent by National Delegate Barbara Andersen of Alaska announcing that the nomination paperwork had been submitted.

Okay, I’m gonna get this out because I keep getting text messages and gettin’ cut off.

WE JUST SUBMITTED THE PAPERWORK TO NOMINATE RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT!

There were six states… Alaska went first and then Nevada; and I think it was, umm, Minnesota. I’m not sure of the other. I mean it was, umm, then Oregon, and I don’t know if that’s in order or not, and then Virgin Islands; and then we waited for Iowa and they came, and… We’re really excited, and…
